Condition
The colours match catalogue illustration.
Good overall condition, despite inevitable cracks and scratches due to age and use.
The lacquer decoration and painted background were slightly refreshed.
One minor loss to the lacquer of the central panel on one encoignure (up to the mountains on the left); small lifts to the painting on the upper part.
The other encoignure has also few minor losses to the lacquer of the central panel, two small chips above and under the pagoda and one vertical shrinkage crack.
The marble tops are slightly scratched and stained all over.
The mounts probably regilt, now rubbed and tarnished.
Both pieces have two removable shelves inside. The veneer on the reverse of the doors has been restored.
