Illustration is accurate.
Gilding is a little rubbed as expected, otherwise good condition overall.
The movement with pin wheel escapement and gridiron pendulum (tarnished) with beat adjustment on the crutch, outside count wheel striking on a bell.
Dial in good condition, sweep seconds hand missing. Movement is complete but very dirty and not running, pendulum suspension broken. With a winder.

Catalogue Note
Si plusieurs horlogers portant le nom de Cronier ou Crosnier sont répertoriés, celui qui signa le cadran de ce régulateur de cheminée doit être Antoine. Né en 1732, maître en 1763, il habitait rue Saint Honoré près de Saint-Germain-l'Auxerrois. Il a collaboré avec Latz, Bonnet, Goyer, Vion et Osmond et sa clientèle comptait le maréchal de Choiseul-Stainville, le prince Beloselski-Belozerski et le duc des Deux-Ponts.
