The emerald-cut aquamarine pendant-brooch weighing approximately 55.00 carats, suspended by 27 graduating emerald-cut aquamarines weighing approximately 82.50 carats, accented by numerous round diamonds weighing approximately 36.30 carats, length 18¼ inches, signed V.C.A., numbered N.Y. 33185; pendant detachable; the front detaches for wear as a bracelet, length 8¼ inches; circa 1960. With signed envelope.
Condition
In good condition. The aquamarine in the pendant-brooch is a richly saturated medium blue, eye-clean. Brooch and segment that tops brooch can both detach from the necklace. The aquamarines in the necklace-bracelet combination are slightly less saturated than the stone in the pendant-brooch, but they are still nicely saturated and eye-clean. The diamonds throughout are approximately F-H color, VVS-VS clarity. Very well made. Pendant and both clasps on bracelet fitted with safety closures. Signed on the safety closures. Fitted with two barrel clasps.
