The stylized bow suspending an articulated fringe, set with 16 oval-shaped rubies weighing approximately 12.55 carats, accented by round and baguette diamonds weighing approximately 16.50 carats, signed Van Cleef & Arpels, numbered N.Y. 23366; circa 1950.

Condition

In good condition. The diamonds are approximately G-I color, VVS-VS clarity. The rubies are well-matched for color, a medium deep pinkish red, lightly to moderately included with some bearing surface reaching inclusions or cavities. Well-made, the fringe is well articulated and the bow has a nice three-dimensionality. Please note the total diamond weight is approximately 16.50 carats.
