Composed of 11 baroque cultured pearls measuring approximately 20.0 by 16.6 by 15.5 mm to 15.5 by 12.6 by 11.6 mm, spaced by 11 faceted rubies, 11 sapphire beads and 11 fluorite beads, length 51 inches, stamped LMG for Luciano Marotta Gigli.

Condition

The mounting in good condition with light nicking, the necklace bearing a nice weight. The medium to medium-deep purplish red rubies are moderately to heavily included, most with surface-reaching inclusions and cavities to the pavilions. The semi-transparent, medium-light blue sapphire beads are heavily included with surface-reaching inclusions. The light to medium yellowish green tumbled fluorite beads are slightly to moderately included. The ivory white baroque pearls present faint green, blue, purple and pink overtones, fair to good luster, and minor to significant blemishing in the form of pitting, wrinkling, noduling and peeling skins.
