The earclips set with four oval-shaped yellow sapphires weighing approximately 28.50 carats, accented by round diamonds weighing approximately 3.00 carats, further set with onyx details; the ring of similar design centered by an oval-shaped yellow sapphire weighing approximately 11.50 carats, framed by round diamonds weighing approximately 2.25 carats, accented by 16 calibré-cut yellow sapphires and onyx, size 6¼.
Condition
All pieces in good general condition, the ring with moderate nicking and evidence of sizing to the shank. The oval sapphires range from faint to light yellow and are lightly to moderately included with some eye-visible inclusions. The cutting style of the ring's sapphire allows one to see through to the finger when the piece is worn. The calibré-cut gemstones in the ring are medium yellowish orange and eye-clean; refractive indexes could not be obtained to determine if they are sapphires or citrines. The onyx cabochons retain a high polish, and the diamonds are approximately G-H color, VS clarity.
