Centered by an oval-shaped ruby weighing 5.33 carats, flanked by two tapered baguette diamonds weighing approximately .25 carat, size 6¼, signed Chaumet, Paris, with French assay and maker's marks.

In good condition. General wear and evidence of sizing to the shank. The ruby is a medium-deep purplish red and moderately included primarily due to feathers running the length of the stone (seen under magnification). Small area of surface-reaching feathers and small cavites on the pavilion just below the girdle. Minute chipping to the girdle. The diamonds are approximately G-H color, VVS-VS clarity. Accompanied by AGL report no. CS 52420 stating that the ruby is of Burmese origin, with no indications of heating.
