The clutch-style blue suede handbag completed by a clasp set with 56 calibré-cut sapphires, measuring approximately 9¼ by 7 by 1¾ inches, stamped Cartier, Made in France, numbered 4327, with French assay and maker's marks; circa 1940.
Condition
In good condition. The sapphires are well-matched for color, a medium-deep blue, lightly to moderately included, with one stone significantly chipped. With four interior pockets. Clasp slides to one side when opened.
