Of foliate design decorated with ribbon scrolls, set with round and single-cut diamonds weighing approximately 11.75 carats, accented by square-cut diamonds weighing approximately 9.70 carats, further set with 28 calibré-cut aquamarines, signed Flato, one aquamarine missing; circa 1940.

Condition

In good condition. The brooch is very three dimensional and well-made. The aquamarines are light very slightly greenish blue and eye-clean, one is missing just below the leaf motifs. The diamonds are approximately H-J color, VS-SI clarity. The ends of the ribbon scrolls are hinged and very slightly articulated. Signed on the reverse of the brooch towards the top.
