Description
- David Webb
- gold, emerald, diamond
Centered by a cut-cornered rectangular modified brilliant emerald weighing approximately 14.00 carats, flanked by two pear-shaped diamonds and numerous round diamonds, size 5¾, signed Webb.
Condition
In good condition. The emerald is a bright, lively medium-light green and very lightly included. It is less bluish-green than it appears in the printed catalogue. The girdle is moderately to significantly abraded, but this is not apparent when worn. There are some minute nicks to the facet junctions and one very small cavity at the center of the table due to a surface reaching inclusion (this can only be seen under magnification). The stone is very deep which causes the ring to sit high off the finger. The diamonds are approximately F-H color, VS clarity. The shank with some denting and scratching due to wear. Accompanied by AGL report no. CS 53570 stating that the emerald is of Colombian origin, clarity enhancement: insignificant, type: traditional.
