Description

  • Sterlé
  • gold, citrine, diamond
Centered by a heart-shaped citrine weighing approximately 25.00 carats, framed by gold branches set with numerous round diamonds weighing approximately 1.35 carats, size 3½, signed Sterlé Paris, numbered 5973.

Condition

In good overall condition. The slightly brownish medium-light yellow citrine is chipped in several places along the girdle with the most prominent one, located at the heart's point, being noticeable on close inspection. Moderate abrading to the facet junctions and light scratching to the table, but the stone's interior is eye-clean. Diamonds are approximately G-H color, VS clarity. The engraving to the branch-form shank remains generally crisp. "PARIS" on the shank interior is rubbed with only "PA" remaining. The mounting is pleasingly assymetrical, causing the citrine point down toward the finger.
