Applied with red and black enamel, the ends set with two openwork carved jade plaques depicting birds amongst flowering vines, set with numerous rose-cut diamonds, measuring approximately 3 3/8 by 1½ by 1 1/8 inches, signed Van Cleef et Arpels, Paris, numbered 22545 and 2632, with French assay and workshop marks; circa 1925.

Condition

Please note the case dates from circa 1925. In good condition overall, with some enamel loss. The 199 rose-cut diamonds weigh approximately .40 carat and are near colorless and decorative in quality. The jade is nicely carved, with evident black and white color mottling. Signed Van Cleef et Arpels, numbered 22545 and 2632.
