The tapered strap centered by a pear-shaped emerald weighing approximately 1.90 carats, accented by two old European-cut diamonds weighing approximately 1.50 carats, further set with numerous smaller old European and single-cut diamonds weighing approximately 9.00 carats, length 6½ inches, signed Cartier, numbered 2615042; circa 1925. With fitted and signed box.
Condition
In good condition. The emerald is a medium slightly bluish green color and is moderately included, with significant abrading to the facet junctions, scratching to the surface and with some chipping to the girdle of the stone. Diamonds are approximately H-J color and predominantly VS clarity, with examples of SI stones. The clasp operates by pulling downward on a spring-loaded nodule on the side of the rectangular shaped link. Signed and numbered adjacent to that nodule. Box signed Cartier, 653 Fifth Ave, New York, 13 Rue de la Paix, Paris, London 175 New Bond Street.
