Centered by a square emerald-cut emerald weighing approximately 10.40 carats, framed by round diamonds weighing approximately 5.45 carats and 76 calibré-cut emeralds, suspended from a chain, length 16 inches, pendant-brooch signed Marcus & Co., numbered 1346; together with a brooch fitting; circa 1925. With signed box numbered OPC316.

Condition

In good condition, the mounting with surface wear commensurate with age. The primary emerald is a medium, very slightly watery, slightly bluish green and lightly to moderately included. It is brighter than it appears in the printed catalogue. A few small reflective inclusions located under the perimeter of the table and the bezel facets. The calibré-cut emeralds are a well-matched medium slightly bluish green and lightly to moderately included. The diamonds are approximately G-H color, VS-SI clarity. The underside of the mounting with two threaded holes, one currently with a removable screw with a retractable pendant loop (the pendant is currently suspended from another, fixed loop). Chain completed by a simple C-clasp. Accompanied by AGL report no. CS 52460 stating that the emerald is of Colombian origin, clarity enhancement: insignificant, type: traditional.
