The crescent-shaped segment applied with black enamel terminating with three turquoise cabochons measuring approximately 12.6 by 9.0 by 5.6 mm, framed by black enamel and accented by old European and single-cut diamonds weighing approximately .30 carat, signed G. Fouquet, numbered 22693, with French assay and workshop marks; circa 1925-1930.

Condition

In good general condition with surface wear commensurate with age. The lively, medium very slightly greenish blue turquoises with significant matrix used to decorative effect. Losses to the enamel on the bezels. The body of the brooch is done in enamel, not onyx as stated in the printed catalogue. The diamonds approximately F-G color, VS-SI clarity.
