Description
- gold, diamond, enamel
Centered by a mixed antique-cut diamond weighing approximately .80 carat, flanked by two figures heightened with black, white, green, red and blue enamel, gross weight approximately 12 dwts, size 6½; circa 1890.
Condition
In good condition with general surface wear commensurate with age. Minor losses and manufacturing irregularities to the enamel from the time of manufacture. Bearing a significant weight, suggesting the piece is high karat gold. Using a touchstone, the gold holds up to 22 karat testing liquid. The diamond is approximately I-J color, VS-SI clarity.
