Comprising a necklace, brooch, earclips and ring, the necklace set at the front with three carved and pierced jade plaques, the central plaque depicting flowering vines and the side plaques depicting pagodas amongst landscapes, spaced by polished gold links and five jade rings, accented by round and single-cut diamonds, length 15½ inches; the brooch centered by a carved jade plaque depicting a dragon amidst fruit trees, accented by one jade bead and two jade cabochons, set with round diamonds; the floral earclips centered by two round jade cabochons, set with ten round diamonds; the ring centered by an oval jade cabochon, flanked by four round diamonds, size 6 3/8, with maker's mark; total diamond weight approximately 10.15 carats; circa 1954. With fitted box.

Condition

In good condition. The jade has not been tested by a gem lab, but all elements register as jade on a refractometer. The jade is a medium to richly saturated slightly bluish green with minimal color mottling and are translucent. The diamonds are approximately G-I color, VS clarity. NECKLACE: The center jade plaque measures approximately 37.4 by 21.6 by 4.0 mm; side plaques measure approximately 20.6 by 29.6 by 2.2 and 27.7 by 39.3 by 2.6 mm; jade rings measure approximately 15.80 mm; 72 diamonds. To operate the clasp, pull out the plunger-style safety and then unhinge the clasp. BROOCH: jade plaque measures approximately 37.4 by 20.8 by 3.5 mm; two cabochons measure approximately 12.8 by 7.9 by 5.3 mm and 12.9 by 8.3 by 5.2 mm; 13 diamonds. EARCLIPS: jade cabochons measure approximately 12.9 by 12.8 by 5.1 and 12.5 by 12.7 by 5.1 mm, ten diamonds. Fitted with posts and omega backs. RING: the bottom of the shank is 14 karat gold. Oval jade cabochon measures approximately 19.2 by 13.4 by 16.1 mm, four diamonds, fits between a size 6 1/4 and 6 1/2. Shank signed illegibly.
