The bracelet set at the front with six round diamonds weighing approximately .35 carat and 14 round rubies, gross weight approximately 20 dwts, internal circumference 6 inches, signed Van Cleef & Arpels, numbered N.Y. 1207; together with a pair of earclips set with ten cabochon rubies, decorated with star motifs set with round diamonds weighing approximately .20 carat, signed T&H-M; both pieces circa 1945.
Condition
Both pieces in good condition, with some light surface wear. BRACELET: The rubies are well-matched for color, a medium purple-red, moderately included, with some examples bearing some light chipping that is not evident when worn. The diamonds are approximately G-H color, VS clarity. Fitted with a safety closure. Numbered N.Y. 1207. EARCLIPS: The rubies are a medium-deep purplish red, moderately to heavily included with some evident surface-reaching inclusions and cavities. The diamonds are near colorless and decorative in quality. Fitted with hooks on the back of the clip mechanism to allow for wear as lapel clips.
