Of openwork design, set with six pearls ranging in size from approximately 6.9 to 6.1 mm, accented throughout with florets set with numerous old mine, old European, rose and single-cut diamonds weighing approximately 28.25 carats, length 12¾ inches, the links numbered 2-12 and 15; together with two extra detached links, the first link comprising one pearl measuring approximately 6.4 mm, numbered 1, the other link with a plaque signed Cartier, both set throughout with old mine, old European, rose and single-cut diamonds. With fitted box.

Condition

In good condition with light surface wear to the mounting commensurate with age. As mentioned in the printed catalogue, the choker is accompanied by two extra links not illustrated in the printed catalogue. The round and near-round pearls have a creamy golden body color with soft pink and moderate green overtones. Waxy to very good luster with a few examples of pitting and wrinkling to the skins. The diamonds are approximately I-K color, predominantly VS clarity with some examples in the SI and I clarity ranges. Well made and nicely flexible. Accompanied by GIA report no. 2155057487 stating that the pearls are natural, with six freshwater pearls and one saltwater pearl.
