The bangle-bracelet set with 14 old mine-cut diamonds weighing approximately 1.40 carats and seven cushion-cut sapphires weighing approximately 6.50 carats, internal circumference 6½ inches, stamped G. Confaloniere F., Milano; the ring of similar design set with six round diamonds weighing approximately 1.00 carat and three cushion-cut sapphires, size 7.
Condition
In good condition. BRACELET: The sapphires are medium violetish blue, with eye-clean clarity, the stones exhibiting scratches and abrasions due to wear, most of these are concentrated at the facet junctions. The diamonds are approximately F-G color, VS-SI clarity. The gold exhibiting a nice patina and some scratching due to age. Fitted with a safety clasp. Stamped on applied plaque on interior. RING: The saphires of similar color to those in the bangle-bracelet, they are less abraded than those in the bracelet. The diamonds are of similar color and clarity to the diamonds in the bracelet. The shank is slightly flattened due to wear.
