The oval cabochon emerald weighing 17.50 carats, within a simple gold mounting, size 6.

Condition

Accompanied by AGL report no. CS 48011 stating that the emerald is of Colombian origin, clarity enhancement: insignificant to faint, type: traditional. The emerald is a bright and lively medium slightly bluish green color and is of good clarity. A few minor surface-reaching cavities, tiny chips and some small scratches to the surface. An interesting iridescent inclusion at one end, visible when viewed from the side. The mounting is lightly scratched, but in good condition.
