Designed as a bird perched on a branch, the body and tail composed of cultured pearls measuring approximately 6.3 to 3.6 mm., the head set with round diamonds weighing approximately 1.30 carats, the eye set with a marquise-shaped ruby, signed Monture Cartier, French maker's and assay marks.

Condition

Set with 26 round diamonds approximately G-H color and VS clarity. Also with 74 cultured pearls of creamy silver color and good luster. Ruby at eye is bright and clean. Signed Monture Cartier underneath locking mechanism on pin stem bridge. In good condition. Provenance: Pierre Bergé, Geneva, May 16, 2006, lot 228.
