The center set with an oval-shaped portrait miniature of a classical female figure holding a harp against a balustrade, within a lozenge-shaped pendant applied with pale green guilloché enamel, surmounted by rose-cut diamonds and outlined by seed pearls, suspended from a seed pearl and diamond chain set with single-cut diamonds weighing approximately .25 carat, gathered by a small openwork link set with an old European-cut diamond weighing approximately .10 carat and smaller old mine diamonds, length 17 inches.

Condition

In good condition overall. The portrait with some minor water damage and flaking to the pigment evident under raking light; some patination to the reverse of the pendant commensurate with age. The diamonds are all near colorless and decorative in quality, some of the rose-cuts have chips that are visible under magnification, but the irregularities don't detract from look of the piece. The chain is fitted with a simple spring ring clasp.
