Condition
Both pieces in good condition. Set throughout with 23 oval and 72 round sapphires, and 22 marquise-shaped and 316 round diamonds. The sapphires range from light to medium violetish blue and present minor to moderate color zoning. Eye-clean to moderately included with some bearing eye-visible inclusions. Some of the cushion-shaped sapphires have irregular cuts (e.g. off-center culets and asymmetrical faceting) as commonly found with material of this type mounted in mid-20th century jewelry. The diamonds are approximately F-H color, VVS-SI clarity. Fitted with a safety clasp. BROOCH: The 3 central links of the necklace may be detached for wear as a brooch. BRACELET: To create the bracelet, unhook the 4th sapphire-centered link starting from the male-end of the clasp. Next, unhook the 2nd small flowerhead link starting from the female-end of the clasp. Hook the two ends together. The bracelet may then be opened and closed using the primary clasp.
