Designed as two facing dragonflies, the wings applied with blue plique-à-jour enamel, the bodies applied with paillonné green enamel, set in the center with a cushion-shaped aquamarine measuring approximately 12.0 by 6.6 by 4.5 mm., the pendant set with an oval aquamarine measuring approximately 6.5 by 6.5 by 4.7 mm., the leaves set with old European-cut and rose-cut diamonds, partial maker's mark, French assay marks.
Condition
In good overall condition. The top of the upper-left wing is slightly bent and the bottom section of the platinum wire frame is warped, but these irregularities are noticeable only upon closer inspection. Minor crazing to the plique-à-jour enamel, but no apparent losses aside from some small "cavities" to the lower left wing near the dragonfly's body. The applied translucent green enamel remains intact. The slightly green light blue aquamarines are eye-clean. Partial French maker's mark, possibly a vertical lozenge with an A at left, and a French export mark on the pinstem.
