Etched and Enameled Glass Ring, René Lalique, Circa 1920

Of bombé form composed of deep purple glass etched and enameled with white flowers and stalks, size 4¾, unsigned.

Small chips to the amethyst-colored glass, primarily to the shank and to one side of bombé top's base; the top of the dome with minimal abrading. Losses to the cream-colored enamelling, primarily to the lower shoulders, with the enamel at top remaining largely intact. The true color more closely resembles the enhancement shot as seen in the printed catalogue.
