Each set at the centre with a cushion-shaped ruby weighing 3.79 and 3.94 carats respectively, within a border of brilliant-cut and baguette diamonds, signed Van Cleef & Arpels and numbered, French assay and maker's marks.

Condition

Rubies of Burmese origin cannot be imported into the US. This piece contains rubies of Burmese origin and therefore may not be able to be imported into the US. Please see our Important Notices and contact the jewellery department for further information. Stamped with French assay marks for platinum and gold. Both signed Van Cleef & Arpels on clip fittings, numbered 4166. According to the SSEF report, the rubies measuring 9.64 x 7.64 x 5.22mm and 9.63 x 7.58 x 5.27mm respectively, of purplish red of medium strong saturations. Rubies well matched in colour, with typical crystal inclusions, few surface reaching, some scratches and abrasions on the surface; for further information please refer to the SSEF report. Diamonds estimated to weigh a total of approximately 5.00 carats, on average of G-H colour and VS-SI clarity, as gauged and graded in mounting. Signs of normal wear to the metal, scratches consistent with use. In good condition.
