Each set at the centre with a cushion-shaped ruby weighing 3.79 and 3.94 carats respectively, within a border of brilliant-cut and baguette diamonds, signed Van Cleef & Arpels and numbered, French assay and maker's marks.

Both signed Van Cleef & Arpels on clip fittings, numbered 4166. According to the SSEF report, the rubies measuring 9.64 x 7.64 x 5.22mm and 9.63 x 7.58 x 5.27mm respectively, of purplish red of medium strong saturations. Rubies well matched in colour, with typical crystal inclusions, few surface reaching, some scratches and abrasions on the surface; for further information please refer to the SSEF report. Diamonds estimated to weigh a total of approximately 5.00 carats, on average of G-H colour and VS-SI clarity, as gauged and graded in mounting. Signs of normal wear to the metal, scratches consistent with use. In good condition.
