The necklace designed as a graduated row of cabochon sapphires, framed by brilliant-cut diamonds, length approximately 410mm, unsigned, fitted case stamped Bulgari Roma; the pendent ear clips each with a detachable cabochon sapphire suspended from a surmount of foliate design set with marquise-shaped, brilliant-cut and baguette diamonds, signed 'BUL' and 'GARI' respectively on pendants.

Condition

Stamped Pt 950 for platinum and 750 for 18 carat gold. Ear clips marked 'BTE SGDG' on clip mechanism, signed BVL on the one and GARI on the other ear clip. Total estimated weight of cabochon sapphires on necklace is approximately 199.00 carats and on the ear clips 66.50 carats, stones well matched in colour, some typical crystal inclusions visible under close inspection, few of them surface reaching, few scratches and nicks. Diamonds estimated to weigh a total of approximately 80.00 - 85.00 carats, on average of G-H colour and VS-SI clarity, as gauged and graded in mounting. Clasp secure, safety catch below. Necklace fitted case shows damage to the exterior, one clasp missing and scratches and rips to the cover.
