Description

Set with a cabochon emerald suspending two articulated and graduated rows of cushion-shaped and circular-cut diamonds terminating on a pear-shaped stone, accented with three small cabochon emeralds, circular- and single-cut diamonds, to a detachable fine curb link chain, length approximately 410mm.

Condition

Necklace stamped with French assay mark for gold, pendant stamped with partial French assay marks for white gold. Emerald estimated to measure approximately 12.1 x 11.7 x 9.2 mm and estimated to weigh approximately 10.00 carats, with some typical crystal inclusions, few surface reaching, few scratches, nicks and chips. Diamonds estimated to weigh a total of approximately 24.00 - 25.00 carats, on average of I-K colour (few of more yellowish tint) and VS-SI clarity (very few I), as gauged and graded in mounting, some with abrasions and minor chips. Clasps secure, necklace chain of adjustable length. Signs of normal wear to the metal, scratches consistent with use, few solder marks to the back. In good condition.
