The handle composed of a polished jadeite lipstick holder suspending a compact of octagonal form, set at the front and back with a carved jadeite plaque, opening to reveal three compartments including a mirror, a writing tablet, and a pencil, engraved a servir ta beauté, highlighted with rose diamonds, one small diamond deficient, signed Boucheron, Paris, fitted case stamped Boucheron.

Condition

Jadeite of Burmese origin cannot be imported into the US. This piece may contain jadeite of Burmese origin and therefore may not be able to be imported into the US. Certification of non-Burmese origin will be required before import of jadeites into the US. Please see our Important Notices and contact the jewellery department for further information. Signed Boucheron Paris, French assay marks for 18 carat gold inside compact and on lipstick holder. Jade with characteristic crystal inclusions, veining and a few minor dark spots. Mirror in very good condition. One compartment with three small pins with seed pearl heads, and a small pencil. One compartment with writing tablet, written on with pencil. One small rose diamond deficient. Diamonds bright and lively. Signs of normal wear to the metal, scratches consistent with age and use. Well preserved, in good condition.
