Set with an oval sapphire weighing 24.56 carats, between shield-shaped diamond shoulders, size 49, sizing band, unsigned, French import and maker's marks.

Condition

Stamped PT 950 for platinum below and OR on the sizing band for gold as well as 750 for 18 carat gold on the yellow gold part of the ring, also stamped with French import marks on outside of band. Numbered 30945 below sizing band. Sapphire with very few inclusions, few surface reaching, few scratches and nicks on the surface; for further information please refer to the SSEF report. Diamonds bright and lively. Signs of normal wear to the metal, scratches consistent with use. Overall condition very good. Copy of original receipt from Louis Gerard, dated 22 February 1990.
