Ruby, sapphire and diamond demi-parure, Bulgari

Comprising: a bracelet designed as a series of links pavé-set with brilliant-cut diamonds, set at the front with heart-shaped rubies and cabochon sapphires, length approximately 165mm; and a pair of ear clips similarly set; signed Bulgari and numbered, Italian assay and maker's marks.

Rubies of Burmese origin cannot be imported into the US. This piece may contain rubies of Burmese origin and therefore may not be able to be imported into the US. Ear clips each signed Bulgari and numbered c1940, maker's marks, stamped 750 for 18 carat gold, inscribed 2.10 cts. and 2.54 cts. respectively, likely referring to the weight of the rubies. Rubies with typical crystal inclusion, minor surface abrasions, well matched in colour. Sapphires estimated to weigh a total of approximately 1.50-2.50 carats, well matched in colour, clean to the naked eye. Diamonds estimated to weigh a total of approximately 3.00-4.00 carats, G-I colour, VS clarity, as gauged and graded in mounting. Ear clips fit securely. Bracelet signed Bulgari and numbered c1942, maker's marks, stamped 750 for 18 carat gold, inscribed 1.50 cts., 2.65 cts., 1.54 cts., likely referring to the weight of the rubies, well matched in colour. Sapphires well matched in colour, with typical crystal inclusions, some surface reaching. Diamonds estimated to weight a total of approximately 7.00-9.00 carats, G-I colour, VS clarity, as gauged and graded in mounting, one small diamond deficient. Clasp secure, safety catch on bottom. All pieces with signs of normal wear to the metal consistent with use. In good condition.
