Comprising: a necklace of open work design set with cabochon rubies, within borders of cushion-, pear-shaped, circular-, single-cut and rose diamonds, the centre detachable and may be worn as a brooch, length approximately 305mm, together with a ring, size 541/2, and a pair of pendent ear clips en suite, later screw back fittings.

Condition

All mounted in silver and gold. Ring: cabochon ruby measuring approximately 9.44 x 8.44 x 6.48 mm, calculated to weigh approximately 5.00 -6.00 carats, as gauged in mounting, typical crystal inclusions, some surface reaching, minor abrasions to surface and nick to the reverse. Diamonds estimated to weigh a total of approximately 2.00-2.50 carats, on average G-I colour, SI-I clarity, as gauged and graded in mounting, some minor chips and abrasions to stones. Earrings: Two larger rubies measuring approximately 8.06 x 6.25 x 3.28 mm and 8.52 x 6.80 x 3.38 mm, calculated to weigh approximately 1.78 carats and 2.11 carats respectively, as gauged in mounting. Rubies with typical crystal inclusions, some surface reaching, a few minor chips and abrasions. Diamonds estimated to weigh a total of approximately 3.00-4.00 carats, on average of G-I colour, SI-I clarity, few chips and abrasions visible under x10 magnification. Pendant/brooch: Three largest rubies measuring approximately (from top to bottom) 8.67 x 11.74 x 4.75 mm; 11.47 x 9.96 x 4.43 mm; and 12.51 x 6.96 x 4.25 mm; calculated to weigh approximately 5.22 carats, 5.46 carats and 3.99 carats respectively, as gauged in mounting. Diamonds estimated to weigh a total of approximately 11.90-13.00 carats, on average H-J colour, (few L) and SI-I clarity, few chips and abrasions visible under x10 magnification. Necklace chain: rubies measuring from approximately from 3.70 x 3.93 x 2.20 mm to 6.25 x 6.54 x 4.77 mm, with typical crystal inclusions, some surface reaching, some minor chips and abrasions. Diamonds estimated to weigh a total of approximately 7.00-9.00 carats, on average of H-J colour, (few L-M colour), SI-I clarity, some chips and abrasions visible under x10 magnification. Clasp secure. All with signs of normal wear to the metal, scratches consistent with age and use. In good condition.
