Description
- emerald, diamond, platinum, 18 carat gold
The oval emerald weighing 6.86 carats, to a surround of brilliant-cut diamonds, size 58, French assay and indistinct maker's marks.
Condition
Accompanied by Laboratoire Français de Gemmologie report no. 199858, stating that the emerald is of Colombian origin with moderate indications of clarity enhancement (oil).
Stamped with French assay mark and 750 for 18 carat gold as well as French assay mark and Pt 950 for platinum. Indistinct French maker's marks. As per the laboratory report the emerald measures approximately 13.9 x 11.00 x 6.7 mm, emerald with typical crystal inclusions, a few visible to the naked eye but overall clean, with some nicks and abrasions to the surface. Diamonds estimated to weight a total of approximately 1.40 carats, estimated colour H-I, estimate clarity VS-SI. Signs of wear to mount consistent with use. In good condition.
