Designed as a detachable brooch/pendant set at the centre with a step-cut emerald within a border of circular-cut and tapered baguette diamonds, suspended from a necklace set with step-, brilliant-cut and baguette diamonds, length approximately 405mm, brooch fitting.

Condition

SSEF report no. 65334, states that the emerald shows no indications of clarity modification, not insignificant clarity enhancement as stated in the printed catalogue. Stamped PT950 on the necklace for platinum and OR clasp fitting and brooch fitting for gold. According to the SSEF report, the square step-cut emerald of medium strong saturation, measuring approximately 13.65 x 13.60 x 8.80mm, weighing approximately 13.00 carats, gauged insofar as collet mounting permits. The diamonds estimated to weigh a total of approximately 17.00-20.00 carats, estimated H-J colour, VS-SI clarity, gauged and graded insofar as mounting permits. Pendant attaches to necklace by way of a detachable diamond surmount with two secure clasp fittings, with safety catches at the side. Necklace clasp secure with side safety catch. Signs of normal wear to the metal, scratches consistent with use. In good condition.
