Description

  • Silver, gold, natural pearl, diamond
Of open work trefoil design, set at the centre with a natural pearl of purplish-grey tint, the leaves and stem highlighted with pinched collet-set circular- and single-cut diamonds, and three drop-shaped natural pearls, brooch fitting detachable.

Condition

Mounted in silver topped gold. According to the SSEF report, the central pearl measuring 9.73 x 9.88 x 9.12mm, of brown body colour with purple overtones, with no indications of artificial colour modifications. The light cream pearls measuring 5.75 x 5.80 x 6.75mm and 5.50 x 5.60 x 6.35mm respectively. The slightly cream pearl measuring 6.15 x 6.20 x 6.95mm, with rosé and green overtones. All with overall good skin, one with blemish to reverse, one with growth mark to reverse. Diamonds estimated to weigh a total of approximately 4.50-5.50 carats, mixed colours and clarities, the majority H-J colour, VS-SI, as gauged and graded in mounting. Signs of normal wear to the metal, scratches consistent with age and use. In good condition.
