Designed as a pear-shaped cabochon ruby, within a frame of brilliant-cut diamonds.

Condition

Rubies of Burmese origin cannot be imported into the US. This piece contains a ruby of Burmese origin and therefore cannot be imported into the US. Please contact the jewellery department for further information or see our Important Notices. Pendant stamped with French assay mark for platinum and 750 for 18 carat gold, necklace stamped 750 for 18 carat gold. Engraved R 29.31 and Bt. 4.74. According to the SSEF report, the cabochon ruby measures approximately 26.10 x 14.65 x 7.05mm, and is stated to weight 27.81 carats. Opaque ruby with typical crystal inclusions, many surface reaching, few scratches and nicks on the surface, for further information, please refer to the reports. Diamonds of G-I colour, VS-SI clarity. Clasp secure. Signs of normal wear to the metal, scratches consistent with use. In good condition.
