Of cluster design, centered by two cushion-cut diamonds weighing 10.05 and 7.75 carats, respectively, framed by numerous old mine-cut diamonds weighing approximately 24.70 carats; the earclip backs of modern design, one signed MFC for Marilyn Cooperman.
Condition
In good condition. The larger diamond bearing a chip and a surface-reaching feather. The surrounding old European-cut and old mine-cut diamonds are approximately H-L color, VS-SI clarity, Several with chips, naturals and nicking, particularly to the girdles; typical of antique-cut material such as this. The metal exhibiting oxidization due to age, and some of the prongs are slightly warped. The extra large earclips make the earrings very comfortable on the ear. Marked with L and R for left and right. Fashioned from antique stones, clips later added, with one earclip signed MFC for Marilyn Cooperman. Accompanied by two GIA reports: No. 1142722446 stating the 10.05 carat diamond is J color, SI1 clarity and no. 5141722425 stating the 7.75 carat diamond is Light Yellow-Green, Natural Color, VS2 clarity.
