bidding is closed

Description

  • JAR
  • platinum, emerald, diamond
The briolette emerald measuring approximately 8.1 by 7.8 mm, suspended from a band set with numerous round diamonds weighing approximately 1.60 carats, size 2½, inclusive of sizing spheres, unsigned, with indistinct workshop marks and stamped PT950. With signed pouch.

Condition

The mounting in good condition with light surface wear. The emerald briolette is a richly saturated medium deep green. Moderately included with some reflective inclusions; significant abrading, giving the stone a more highly included appearance. Diamonds are approximately E-F color, VS clarity. Fitted with sizing spheres with evidence of solder at contact points, causing it to register as a size 2 1/2, but the ring fits on an approximately size 4 finger. Cannot be sized, but the sizing spheres could be removed to allow for a larger finger size. The briolette dangles playfully from the band.
