The tops composed of ten carved coral 'leaves' set with round diamonds, suspending a fringe of six carved coral flowers, the interior of each flower set with a round diamond, suspended by round diamonds and onyx beads, the total diamond weight approximately 1.70 carats, signed Verdura.

Condition

In good condition overall. Evidence of glue repair on two of the petals, not noticeable to the naked eye. The coral is a light to medium orangy red and is slightly color mottled. The coral is more orange than illustrated in the printed catalogue. Set with 34 round diamonds approximately H-I color, VS-SI clarity. Although these earclips were made by Verdura in 1986, one was re-made to replace one lost in 2003.
