Composed of six strands of ruby beads measuring approximately 9.0 to 4.0 mm, gathered by four X-shaped motifs and completed by a clasp designed with articulated tassels, set throughout with numerous round diamonds weighing approximately 7.00 carats, length approximately 14 inches, signed Verdura.

Condition

In good condition. The beads are a medium pinkish red color and are moderately to heavily included; actually quite transparent for beads. The diamonds are approximately G-H color, VS clarity. The four diamond-set X motif separators can be detached from the necklace. Accompanied by numerous additional ruby beads. According to Mrs. Wrightsman's records, the ruby beads were purchased at the Gem Palace in India. The weight of the necklace, including the diamond-set mounts, is approximately 950.00 carats.
