Description

Set with a step-cut sapphire weighing 43.65 carats, on a mount set with elongated shield-shaped and baguette diamonds, size 50.

Condition

Sapphire measures 20.68 x 16.86 x 12.16 mm and is of medium blue colour with good saturation, some small inclusions visible to naked eye and under magnification, few nicks, scratches and abrasions to facet edges and girdle, some small surface reaching inclusions; for further information, please refer to the Gübelin report. Diamonds estimated to weigh approximately 0.50 - 1.00 carats, estimated colour H-J, estimated clarity VS-SI. Scratches to mount consistent with wear. In good condition.
