Description

The necklace set with circular-cut, cushion-shaped and oval rubies, highlighted with circular-cut diamonds, length approximately 430mm, French assay and maker's marks.

Condition

Ruby of Burmese origin cannot be imported into the US. This piece contains ruby of Burmese origin and therefore cannot be imported into the US. Please contact the jewellery department for further information or see our Important Notices. Metal tested as silver and gold, clasp stamped with French assay marks and 750 for 18 carat gold. As per the SSEF report the nine larger ruby are estimated to range between 2.70 carats and 6.90 carats approximately. Rubies of a red colour with medium strong saturation overall well matched in colour, for further information please refer to the SSEF report; with many eye visible typical crystal inclusions, some surface reaching, some scratches, nicks and abrasions. Diamonds estimated to approximately 25.00 - 27.00 carats in total, on average G-I colour, VS-SI (few I) clarity, as gauged and graded in mount. Clasp secure, safety chain. Signs of normal wear to the metal, scratches consistent with use. In good condition.
