- Carlo Giuliano
Each designed as a butterfly decorated with polychrome enamel, fitted case C.Giuliano, enamel slightly imperfect.

Condition
Unsigned, with two cases signed C. Giuliano. Enamel on both brooches slightly imperfect, some loss to white butterfly. The other butterfly with missing antennae. Both decorated as much on both the front and back with engraved detail to the legs.
Signs of normal wear to the metal, scratches consistent with use. In good condition. Length of butterflies approximately 40 and 43 mm respectively.

Catalogue Note
These butterfly brooches display the fine craftsmanship that Giuliano is so famous for and his talent with the use of coloured enamels. These jewels represent nature in such exquisite detail looking closely at the irridescent qualities of butterfly wings. They are decorated as much on both the front and back with engraved detail to the legs.
