Designed as two rows of graduated natural pearls set between seed pearls, on a circular clasp set with a button pearl and cushion-shaped diamonds, length of shortest row approximately 540mm, French assay marks.
Provenance
Baroness Olga Wrangel, thence by descent to the present owner.
Condition
French assay marks for 18 carat gold and platinum. The white to cream pearls measure from approximately 5.5mm to 9.8mm, most slightly off round, fair to good lustres, typical blemishes, some pitting, rosé and green overtones. Button-shaped pearl on clasp measuring approximately 11.8mm in diameter, a creamy tint with pinkish and greyish overtones, typical blemishes. Please note that due to the mount it has not been tested. Estimated total diamond weight approximately 4.20 - 4.60 carats, estimated colour H-J, estimated clarity VS - I. Well articulated. Clasp fitting secure. Scratches to mount consistent with age and wear. In very good condition. Accompanied by case signed Cartier.
