In-4 (337 x 260 mm), maroquin noir, plats ornés d'un soleil mosaïqué de tons orangés et jaunes accompagné de filets droits dorés traversant la surface en laissant subsister des figures géométriques de différentes nuances bleues et vertes, à certaines intersections, le tout sillonné de rappels en mosaïque de box blanc de cornes de taureau, doublure et gardes de daim orange, tranches dorées sur témoins, couverture et dos conservés, chemise demi-maroquin noir, étui (Paul Bonet).
Superbe ouvrage illustré de 18 planches hors texte à fond noir, bandeaux et lettres ornées, décors tirés en rouge et noir, couverture de fond bleu d'Henri Matisse.
