En 1920, Jean Cocteau et Raymond Radiguet fondent la petite revue Le Coq à laquelle collabora le peintre Roger de La Fresnaye. Neuf mois à peine après cet envoi, le 12 décembre 1923, Radiguet meurt emporté par la fièvre typhoïde, il n'a que vingt ans.
