Intéressant document apollinairien qui lui servit à la rédaction de la notice de l'édition de 1807 de ce petit conte libertin attribué à la comtesse Félicité de Choiseul-Meuse. Il note à la première page : "Citons la notice de l'édition Gay et Doucé de Julie (1882). Elle semble décidée qu'il faut bien attribuer ce roman à Mme de Choiseul-Meuse".
