Condition

This work is in extremely good condition and requires no restoration. As is typical for the artist, sand or some other kind of grit has been incorporated into his pigment, which he has also scratched and scraped to create the image. There is no apparent instability, damages or restorations. The work is unvarnished and should remain so. (This condition report has been provided courtesy of Simon Parkes Art Conservation, Inc.)
