Condition

The canvas is unlined and well-stretched. Frame abrasions are present along all four edges of the canvas. Paint loss is scattered throughout, with a particular concentration in both the mother's and child's clothing. Additionally, flecks of paint loss are visible along the mother's nose and in the right eye of the child. Under ultraviolet inspection, in-painting is present within the mother's face, specifically along the nose and within her lips. Overall, the works is in very good condition.
